{"id":731057,"date":"2026-02-05T12:26:24","date_gmt":"2026-02-05T12:26:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/731057\/"},"modified":"2026-02-05T12:26:24","modified_gmt":"2026-02-05T12:26:24","slug":"titans-make-significant-donation-to-winter-housing-assistance-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/731057\/","title":{"rendered":"Titans make significant donation to Winter Housing Assistance program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Feb. 5, 2026, 5:10 a.m. ET<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">With parts of the Nashville area still dealing with the aftermath of Winter Storm Fern, including thousands of residents who remain without power following the historic icy storm, the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/football\/nfl\/teams\/tennessee-titans\/336\" data-autotag=\"f9731e2d-52ac-46db-9b52-ab518dbe13b4\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">Tennessee Titans<\/a> are chipping in with some support.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">The Titans&#8217; donation of $250,000 to the Metropolitan Action Commission will help launch Davidson County\u2019s Emergency Winter Housing Assistance Program to help those displaced and suffering from the devastation of the storm.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">The donation is a facet of the Titans\u2019 Home Field Advantage Catalyst Fund, part of the team\u2019s ONE Community platform, and is expected to start running on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">While announcing the donation, Titans President<a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/us\/titans-donate-250-000-to-launch-davidson-county-emergency-winter-housing-aid-program\/ar-AA1VGzLd?ocid=BingNewsSerp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" data-t-l=\":b|z|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">and\u00a0CEO Burke Nihill said\u00a0the team hopes the effort will make an impact on<\/a> the affected families.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">\u201cWe know how devastating Winter Storm Fern has been for so many families in our community,\u201d Nihill said. \u201cWe hope that this effort helps to reaffirm our dedication to standing with Nashville in times of need.
