We will cover this in five parts, looking at offensive and defensive players from AFC teams this week, then NFC teams next week before closing with a look at special teamers. We start today with a review of ex-Jets offensive players who were on AFC teams in 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Bills:<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Running back\u00a0Ty Johnson\u00a0was once again a useful contributor for the Bills as he rushed for 200 yards, caught 24 passes and scored five total touchdowns. He remains under contract.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Wide receiver\u00a0Elijah Moore\u00a0eventually asked for and was granted his release after struggling to crack the Bills\u2019 rotation. He contributed 136 yards and a touchdown on 15 touches.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Another receiver,\u00a0Mecole Hardman, was brought in and played two games but didn\u2019t register a catch. He has been brought back on a futures deal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Dolphins:<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Quarterback\u00a0Zach Wilson\u00a0had a disappointing year that saw the number two, Quinn Ewers, get a chance to start ahead of him at the end of the season. In four games, Wilson completed six of 11 passes for 32 yards and is now a free agent.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Also: Offensive linemen Obinna Eze and Yodny Cajuste spent the year on injured reserve. Both are out of contract but Eze could be back as an exclusive rights free agent. Another offensive lineman, Carter Warren, was signed to a futures deal after the season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Patriots:<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Offensive lineman\u00a0Morgan Moses\u00a0started every game for New England at right tackle. He gave up two sacks and had eight penalties.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Also: Wide receiver Brandon Smith was added to the practice squad. We will see if he gets a futures deal after the season but he has not seen any action. Running back Donovan Edwards was a late addition to the active roster and is under contract for next year despite also not playing. Running back Jonathan Ward was on the practice squad earlier in the year but did not play.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Titans:<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Offensive lineman\u00a0Blake Hance\u00a0heads to free agency after playing in four games with one start while another offensive lineman,\u00a0Corey Levin, is also a free agent. He played in every game, starting two.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Also: Quarterback Trevor Siemian and wide receiver Lance McCutcheon were on the practice squad but did not see action and were not retained.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Colts:<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Quarterback Brett Rypien was on and off roster and practice squad but ultimately did not play for the Colts and ended the year in Minnesota.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Also: Wide receiver DJ Montgomery spent the year on injured reserve and is now an unrestricted free agent.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Jaguars:<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Offensive lineman\u00a0Chuma Edoga\u00a0played in 14 games, starting two, this season. He remains under contract for next year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Texans:<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Guard\u00a0Laken Tomlinson\u00a0was eventually released in December after playing in 10 games with seven starts. He ended up with Baltimore. Tomlinson allowed three sacks and had one penalty in those games.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Wide receiver\u00a0Braxton Berrios\u00a0ultimately only played in four games. He caught six passes for 37 yards in those games, while also contributing on special teams.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Tight end\u00a0Brenden Bates\u00a0was poached from the Browns and with the team for five weeks but is now back in Cleveland. He caught two passes in three appearances.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Steelers:<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Quarterback\u00a0Aaron Rodgers\u00a0got Pittsburgh into the playoffs as he completed 66 percent of his passes for over 3,300 yards with 24 touchdowns and only seven interceptions. However, he played poorly in a first-round exit and is now a free agent again.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Offensive lineman\u00a0Calvin Anderson\u00a0remains under contract for next year despite playing just 23 snaps in nine games.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Also: McCutcheon was on the practice squad but has since been released.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Bengals:<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Quarterback\u00a0Joe Flacco\u00a0was a late addition to the pro bowl games but his time in Cincinnati ultimately wasn\u2019t very successful as he lost five of six starts despite some early success. He ended up with 13 touchdowns passes and only four interceptions with the Bengals. He\u2019s now a free agent.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Rypien\u00a0also saw action earlier in the year, albeit that he was just in for three snaps and sacked on his lone dropback.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Browns:<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Prior to getting traded,\u00a0Flacco\u00a0had struggled with six interceptions in four games, three of which the Browns had lost. He had just two touchdown passes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Wide receiver\u00a0Malachi Corley\u00a0is an exclusive rights free agent so could return after playing in 13 games with five starts. He had over 200 yards on 24 touches but is still waiting for that first career touchdown.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Bates\u00a0was reclaimed from the Texans and ended up starting in three of his six appearances for Cleveland. He caught two passes.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Ravens:<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The Ravens had Tomlinson on their practice squad but he didn\u2019t see action and wasn\u2019t retained after the season. Ward also spent time on their practice squad.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Chiefs:<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Wide receiver\u00a0Jason Brownlee\u00a0was only targeted once in six games and ended up back on the practice squad. He was signed to a futures deal after the season though.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The Chiefs also re-signed tackle\u00a0Esa Pole\u00a0and he was called into action down the stretch as he made four starts at left tackle. He allowed one sack and had three penalties. Pole remains under contract for next year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Raiders:<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Quarterback\u00a0Geno Smith\u00a0led the league with 17 interceptions and was sacked a league-high 55 times as he lost 13 of his 15 starts this year. He remains under contract after having passed for over 3,000 yards and 19 touchdowns.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Running back\u00a0Raheem Mostert\u00a0had 62 rushing yards in his first appearance of the season but was mostly used on special teams after that. He ended up with 174 yards from scrimmage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Chargers:<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Offensive lineman\u00a0Mekhi Becton\u00a0suffered through a lot of injuries again but was able to start 14 games and only allowed three sacks. He had six penalties.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Tackle\u00a0Austin Deculus\u00a0saw plenty of action too, as the Chargers had plenty of injuries on the line. He made five starts and allowed seven sacks with five penalties.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Tight end\u00a0Tyler Conklin\u00a0had a disappointing impact despite also starting five games.
