This is terrifying news for Seahawks fans as it felt eerily similar to when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/12281217\/kam-chancellor-seattle-seahawks-played-super-bowl-torn-mcl\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kam Chancellor injured his knee<\/a> in practice days before losing to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 49.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Well, Seahawks fans, the storm of worry can start to calm (at least a little bit). When asked about Emmanwori\u2019s ankle by Seattle Sports radio, fellow safety, Coby Bryant stated \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MikeDugar\/status\/2019454054292734282?s=20\" rel=\"nofollow\">yeah, yeah he\u2019s good<\/a>.\u201d This is surely welcoming news only a few days away from the big game. Despite the welcoming news, this does not mean that Emmanwori will be 100%. Keep in mind, Chancellor, despite tearing his MCL days before Super Bowl 49, still went on to play.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">It would take a lot more than an ankle injury or torn MCL to keep most NFL Players out of the Super Bowl, especially if the injury occurs the week before the game. Seahawk and NFL fans alike may not know the severity of Emmanwori\u2019s ankle injury until Sunday when he suits up against the Patriots. It could easily be a non-story (similar to Darnold\u2019s oblique). However, considering the impact Emmanwori has on this defense, if the ankle hobbles him, this injury could still significantly impact the game.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Regardless, Bryant\u2019s statement today indicates that Emmanwori looks ready to play against the Patriots.
