THE NFL was able to pass one major rule change for 2025 on Wednesday despite the Tush Push controversy.<\/p>\n

Team owners met in Eagan, Minnesota this week to consider a number of potential rule changes.<\/p>\n

The HBO show follows a team through training campCredit: HBO<\/p>\n

An official vote was taken on banning the play that the Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> have perfected.<\/p>\n

But the vote failed to reach the 75 per cent required<\/a> for change.<\/p>\n

And rule changes need at least 24 of the 32 teams to agree.<\/p>\n

One switch that was made for 2025 was to hit HBO show Hard Knocks.<\/p>\n

The NFL <\/a>changed the criteria for teams that can appear<\/a> on the documentary.<\/p>\n

Hard Knocks has aired since 2001 and follows an NFL team through training camp.<\/p>\n

Teams that made the playoffs the previous season used to be ineligible to appear.<\/p>\n

But that rule has been scrapped and this year’s team has been confirmed.<\/p>\n

Hard Knocks will follow the Buffalo Bills<\/a> through training camp.<\/p>\n

Cameras will be at St. John Fisher University this summer for an inside look at Josh Allen’s side.<\/p>\n

Bills training camp dates have yet to be announced by the team.<\/p>\n

But Hard Knocks will premiere in early August with episodes right up until Week 1 of the season in September.<\/p>\n

The Bills suffered a heartbreaking end to their 2024 campaign.<\/p>\n

They were edged out 32-29 by the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game at Arrowhead Stadium.<\/p>\n

Teams with a first-year head coach are still ineligible to appear on Hard Knocks.<\/p>\n

4.25 pm – Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers
4.25 pm – Houston Texans at Los Angeles Rams

8.15 pm – Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears<\/p>\n

And franchises that have been featured in the past eight seasons are also exempt.<\/p>\n

The Hard Knocks franchise has expanded in recent years to include in-season and off-season versions.<\/p>\n

Hard Knocks In-Season will follow the entire NFC East division in 2025, it was also confirmed.<\/p>\n

The Kansas City Chiefs are also releasing a documentary this fall.<\/p>\n
