White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt<\/a> revealed which Super Bowl halftime show President Donald Trump prefers to watch this Sunday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Grammy Award winner Bad Bunny will be performing during the official Super Bowl halftime show in Santa Clara, California, for Sunday’s game.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, concern among conservatives over Bad Bunny’s apparent “woke” values inspired Turning Point USA<\/a> (TPUSA) to plan its own “All-American” halftime for Sunday headlined by country\/rock artist Kid Rock.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Leavitt suggested Trump would be tuning in to watch the TPUSA show.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“I think the president would much prefer a Kid Rock performance over Bad Bunny. I must say that,” Leavitt told reporters at Thursday’s White House press briefing.<\/p>\n

Leavitt also said the president is not picking a team to win Sunday’s game between the New England Patriots<\/a> and Seattle Seahawks. But she revealed her rooting interest.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“The president has wisely chosen not to make a prediction on Sunday night’s game, but as a native girl from New Hampshire, go Patriots,” Leavitt added.\u00a0<\/p>\n

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell<\/a> addressed questions about Bad Bunny possibly making a political statement during the Super Bowl halftime show during a news conference Monday.<\/p>\n

“Listen, Bad Bunny is, and I think that was demonstrated last night, one of the great artists in the world, and that\u2019s one of the reasons we chose him,” Goodell said. “But the other reason is he understood the platform he was on, and this platform is used to unite people and to be able to bring people together with their creativity, with their talents and to be able to use this moment to do that. And I think artists in the past have done that.<\/p>\n

“I think Bad Bunny understands that, and I think he\u2019ll have a great performance.”<\/p>\n
