Super Bowl week might as well be “Rumor Mill” week nowadays. And the Green Bay Packers have officially entered the chat.<\/p>\n

With names like Romeo Doubs<\/a>, Micah Parsons, and Jordan Love, among others, making their rounds this week, we’ve heard plenty of whispers and chatter about the Packers’ offseason festivities to come. Specifically, there’s a lot still to be figured out about this wide receiver room, which starts with Doubs’ impending free agency.<\/p>\n

However, there is one name also set to enter free agency, as well, and he’s going to be a hot topic all the way up until a new contract is reached: George Pickens. If you’re a little late to the party, just know, the recruitment buzz has already started<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Appearing on Kay Adams’ show, this week, Love was asked about the potential<\/a> of bringing Pickens to Green Bay:<\/p>\n

“If you can bring in another player, George Pickens. He had a phenomenal year, he’s a great player. I would love to have the most talented players on our team at all times, and we’ll see \u2026 I played basketball with him. I know what type of bounce he’s got.”<\/p>\n

Don’t underestimate a key connection that could draw George Pickens to the Green Bay Packers<\/p>\n

In addition to Love being keen on the idea of Pickens coming to Green Bay, there is an interesting connection here, too.<\/p>\n

Love, Pickens, and Parsons all share the same agent: David Mulugheta.<\/p>\n

“George has got the same agent as well \u2026 We all get together for Elite Week. David Mulugheta brings us all out, we get together and do some cool things,” Love said.<\/p>\n

So, let’s do the math here. Last year, Love spoke on Adams’ show<\/a> about the potential of bringing Parsons to Green Bay, while also mentioning the fact that they shared the same agent.<\/p>\n

Days later … it happened. Parsons became a Packer.<\/p>\n

Things couldn’t possibly be lining up for another shocking move by the Packers, could it?<\/p>\n

We’ve heard, by now, that the Dallas Cowboys want to keep Pickens around alongside CeeDee Lamb. And, boy, does it make sense. The Cowboys’ offense was on absolute fire last year when the two of them were on the field together. Dak Prescott can still play at a high level, and their problems are anywhere but on offense.<\/p>\n

But, to see the Packers steal Pickens away would be a thing of beauty. <\/p>\n

It would also be extremely surprising, considering the max-type contract he will command. Pickens put up a career year with 93 receptions, 1,429 yards, and nine touchdowns while being the de facto No. 2 wide receiver next to Lamb.<\/p>\n

He’s going to get the bag, but it probably won’t be from Green Bay.<\/p>\n
