The Buffalo Bills<\/a> poached two coaches<\/a> from the Denver Broncos<\/a> this offseason. Next month, they might also attempt to target several of Denver’s pending free agents<\/a>.<\/p>\n After landing the head coach job in Buffalo, Joe Brady hired Denver senior assistant\u00a0Pete Carmichael as his\u00a0new offensive coordinator<\/a>\u00a0and Broncos<\/a> assistant head coach\/defensive pass game coordinator Jim Leonhard as his new defensive coordinator<\/a>. Those two coaches know Denver’s roster well \u2014 on both sides of the ball.<\/p>\n The Bills<\/a>‘ needs going into the 2026 offseason include wide receiver, linebacker, safety and defensive line. The Broncos’ list of upcoming free agents<\/a> includes notable players at three of those positions.<\/p>\n Linebackers Alex Singleton and Justin Strnad are both scheduled to become unrestricted free agents in March, and given Strnad’s request for a starting role<\/a>, it’s hard to imagine Denver managing to re-sign both of them.<\/p>\n Broncos safety P.J. Locke is also headed for free agency, and Leonhard knows him well. On the defensive line, JFM is one of the top pending free agents in the entire NFL.<\/p>\n Need a news break?
