{"id":734498,"date":"2026-02-06T23:59:00","date_gmt":"2026-02-06T23:59:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/734498\/"},"modified":"2026-02-06T23:59:00","modified_gmt":"2026-02-06T23:59:00","slug":"authorities-nbc-6-south-florida","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/734498\/","title":{"rendered":"Authorities \u2013 NBC 6 South Florida"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The former head football coach at South Plantation High School has been arrested amid allegations of improper conduct with a child, records showed.<\/p>\n<p>Colby Erskin, 39, was arrested Thursday by the Seminole County Sheriff&#8217;s Office on a Broward County warrant on charges of solicitation of a child and transmission of material harmful to minors, jail records showed.<\/p>\n<p>He was being held without bond, according to the jail records.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/020626-Colby-Erskin.png\" loading=\"lazy\"   alt=\"Colby Erskin\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\tSeminole County Sheriff&#8217;s OfficeSeminole County Sheriff&#8217;s Office<\/p>\n<p>Colby Erskin<\/p>\n<p>Further details of the allegations weren&#8217;t immediately available.<\/p>\n<p>Records showed Erskin was most recently the head football coach at Mount Dora High School in Lake County.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Mr. Erskin is no longer employed with Lake County Schools.
