Brittany wore a gray strapless minidress for the celebration, while Mahomes opted for loose-fitting pants that appeared to conceal a leg brace.

Video shared by Chiefs Talk on Instagram showed Mahomes mingling comfortably with guests. The post included the caption, “QB1’s recovery looks like it’s going to plan!? Pushing 7 weeks since ACL and LCL surgery? On schedule, for those worrying about him missing a significant amount of time.”

Fans immediately reacted in the comments.

“Glad to see our QB is doing well. He’s a good man.”

“Our guy gets the best medical treatment, as he should!”

“Progress.. Prayers for speedy recovery continue.”

Although Mahomes did not speak publicly at the party, his ability to walk without visible assistance marked a notable moment in his recovery process following his season-ending knee injury in Week 15.

The 3 Time Super Bowl Champion Discusses Rehab Progress After Knee Surgery

Mahomes previously addressed his recovery during a media session on Jan. 15, his first time speaking publicly since undergoing surgery on Dec. 15.

“Rehab is going great so far,” Mahomes said. “I’ve been doing all of it here in Kansas City, and [Assistant Athletic Trainer] Julie [Frymyer] has been crushing it [and] pushing me. The doctor gives you goals to [reach], and I just try to maximize those. They [have to] hold me back because I always want to go a little bit further, so it’s been going great.”

Mahomes confirmed that he is completing the majority of his rehab in Kansas City and emphasized that he remains motivated throughout the process.

His goal, he said, is to be ready for the start of next season.

“Obviously, I want to be ready for Week 1,” Mahomes explained. “The doctor said I could be, [and while we] can’t predict what’s going to happen throughout the process, that’s my goal. I’ll try to prepare myself to play in Week 1, and have no restrictions.”

Patrick Mahomes Sets Goal for Week 1 Return

Mahomes outlined a tentative timeline that includes the possibility of participating in offseason workouts.

“So, hopefully [I’ll] be able to do some stuff in OTAs, and then get to training camp and be able to do a lot of stuff,” he said. “It’s a long process, but I’m excited for it.”

The three-time Super Bowl MVP also highlighted how crucial his working relationship with assistant athletic trainer Julie Frymyer has been throughout multiple injury rehabs during his career.

Frymyer previously played a key role in managing Mahomes’ high ankle sprain during the 2022–23 postseason, helping him return to the field en route to a championship run.

Now back under her supervision, Mahomes stressed the importance of trust during recovery.

That relationship is extremely important because what I’ve found throughout this process is that not every day is going to feel amazing,” Mahomes said. “Some days, you’re going to be sore. Some days, you’re going to feel stiff.”

He added, “So, you have to have someone that you trust that’s going to get the best out of you, that’s going to keep you safe, and that’s going to push you.”

   More Heavy on Chiefs

    Loading more stories

Getty Patrick Mahomes turned a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit launch party into a date night while quietly offering fans…

[2063
346,7,118,110,2438,2437,6
0":"post-734544","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-kansas-city-chiefs","8":"tag-chiefs","9":"tag-football","10":"tag-kansas-city","11":"tag-kansas-city-chiefs","12":"tag-kansascity","13":"tag-kansascitychiefs","14":"tag-nfl
["GET
