No one verbally threw former Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kevin Patillo under the bus for the underwhelming 2025 offensive performances, but he clearly took the brunt of the blame. Still, head coach Nick Sirianni said that the fault for their failures didn\u2019t fall on just on one person.<\/p>\n
As the Eagles turn to their new offensive coordinator, Sean Mannion, A.J. Brown came to his former OC\u2019s defense one more time when speaking to Micah Parsons at an event ahead of Super Bowl LX.<\/p>\n
\u201dSometimes change is not a bad thing. I have the utmost respect for KP [Kevin Patullo]. To me, he did a tremendous job, and he has a great heart. But, I\u2019m excited for the season, I\u2019m excited for what\u2019s to come.\u201c<\/p>\n
Brown seems like he\u2019s trying to make some kind of statement, because to say Patullo did a tremendous job when the product was so poor doesn\u2019t quite add up. At minimum, he\u2019s indicating that the former OC was not the (only) problem, while acknowledging it was probably time for change.<\/p>\n
