With his team watching Super Bowl<\/a> LX rather than playing in it, Micah Parsons isn’t holding back on his thoughts about this year’s teams participating in the big game.<\/p>\n

Sunday’s matchup features MVP runner-up Drake Maye leading the surprising New England Patriots<\/a> against veteran Sam Darnold and the Seattle Seahawks<\/a>. While opinions are mixed over who could win the game, the Seahawks remain favorites as of this writing.<\/p>\n

Parsons joined the Green Bay Packers<\/a> this season amid a rough situation with his former team, the Dallas Cowboys. While the Packers reached the postseason, Parsons wasn’t playing due to an unfortunate season-ending torn ACL injury. His team ultimately lost in the Wild Card Round to Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears.<\/p>\n

\"Green<\/p>\n

Amid his offseason and injury recovery, Parsons is participating in the fun and festivities of the past week’s Pro Bowl and the upcoming Super Bowl. He recently hosted a live episode of his podcast featuring fellow NFL<\/a> stars A.J. Brown of the Philadelphia Eagles and Bryce Young of the Carolina Panthers.<\/p>\n

At one point during the conversation, Parsons addressed the upcoming Super Bowl LX, dropping a wild remark about this year’s matchup.<\/p>\n

“Y’all can say I’m a hater, but this ain’t what the Super Bowl supposed to look like,” he said, drawing laughs and some applause from the crowd.<\/p>\n

While Brown and Young chuckled over Parsons’ statement, they also called him out for it, with Brown defending the two teams for the hard work it took to get to the big game.<\/p>\n

“Football is so hard. It’s so hard to win in this league, so the two teams that are there, they deserve to be there, guys, like trust me,” Brown said, adding, “It is so hard to win.”<\/p>\n

He mentioned that Young’s Panthers nearly beat the Eagles during the season, despite Carolina’s record suggesting they weren’t playing well at that time.<\/p>\n

“Any given Sunday, you never know, and you have to come out and play your best ball,” Brown said, reiterating that the two teams are deserving of their spots in Super Bowl LX.<\/p>\n

Asked who he thinks should’ve been in the big game, Parsons humorously replied, “The motherf***ing Green Bay Packers, I’ll tell you that.”<\/p>\n

While Parsons’ Packers and other playoff contenders didn’t find the postseason success they envisioned, the Patriots and Seahawks did. New England defeated the likes of the Houston Texans, Los Angeles Chargers, and Denver Broncos in the AFC, while Seattle beat the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams in the NFC.<\/p>\n

They’ll now face off on Super Bowl Sunday, with the winner claiming the Lombardi Trophy for all the hard work they put in this past season.<\/p>\n
