McCaffrey follows new offensive coordinator\u00a0Mike McDaniel\u00a0to Los Angeles, having served under him as an offensive assistant with the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/football\/nfl\/teams\/miami-dolphins\/345\" data-autotag=\"22ef43a4-dc5a-43ce-87cd-912a7e348a81\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">Dolphins<\/a> for the past three seasons.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">McCaffrey replaces\u00a0Kiel McDonald, who will not return to the Chargers staff after two seasons.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Max is the oldest of the McCaffrey brothers, including three-time Pro Bowl running back\u00a0Christian McCaffrey (49ers)\u00a0and wide receiver\u00a0Luke McCaffrey\u00a0(Commanders).
