Less than two weeks removed from the 2025 NFL schedule release<\/a>, star cornerback Deommodore Lenoir<\/a> revealed what 49ers matchup he\u2019s most looking forward to.<\/p>\n

And, yes, it\u2019s definitely one of San Francisco\u2019s five prime-time appearances.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat Thursday night Rams game. That\u2019s the one for me,\u201d Lenoir, the recipient of the 2025 Dwight Clark Legacy Award, told NBC Sports Bay Area\u2019s Laura Britt at the annual event Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

Could it be that San Francisco\u2019s Week 15 loss<\/a> to the Rams \u2013 on that essentially ended the 49ers\u2019 playoff hopes \u2013 be a source of motivation for Lenoir?<\/p>\n

That and the blown 14-point lead in the Week 3 loss<\/a> to Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cReally, it\u2019s a division game,\u201d Lenoir added. \u201cThey\u2019re like rivals, and they talk a lot. I feel like just for last year we owe them double.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the bright side, San Francisco has a favorable fourth-place schedule in 2025 after finishing last season with a 6-11 record and in last place in the NFC West. The Rams, on the other hand,\u00a0 were crowned divisional champions after finishing with a 10-7 record, giving them a lot of room to talk.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do,\u201d Lenoir joked when asked if he notices the Rams\u2019 trash talking. \u201cIt kind of fueled me during the week. I kind of let my [defensive back] room know what\u2019s going on and how they feel about us and what we\u2019re up against.\u201d<\/p>\n

San Francisco\u2019s home-crowd advantage did not help them in their two games against the Rams last season, but that can take a turn for the better this upcoming season.<\/p>\n

Come Week 5, Lenoir and Co. will make sure that happens down in Southern California.<\/p>\n
