It may seem like a pipe dream, but the day may come when the Cleveland Browns<\/a> make the Super Bowl.<\/p>\n

This raises the question \u2014 is it really worth selling our collective souls to the devil or the Haslams?<\/p>\n

And then there’s the conundrum of who would introduce the Browns at America’s big game.<\/p>\n

There’s a recent tradition of having celebrities introduce the teams at the start of the game.<\/p>\n

Last year’s Super Bowl between the Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> and Kansas City Chiefs featured two actors \u2014 Philadelphia native Bradley Cooper and Jon Hamm, a lifelong Kansas City fan.<\/p>\n

This year’s announcers for the matchup between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks include Jon Bon Jovi, who is a friend of Patriots owner Robert Kraft, and actor Chris Pratt, who grew up not far from Seattle.<\/p>\n

So, which celebrity has the biggest bark to be the face of the Browns at a Super Bowl?<\/p>\n

The Cleveland Guardians<\/a> tapped actor Tom Hanks to introduce fans to the team’s name change back in 2021.<\/p>\n

Hanks credits Cleveland for starting his acting career as he earned his chops and an Actor’s Equity card at the Great Lakes Theater.<\/p>\n

It should be noted the Guardians’ big announcement also featured the music of another pair of possible Browns Super Bowl announcers \u2014 Akron’s the Black Keys<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"LeBron<\/p>\n

LeBron James once sported a throwback Jim Brown jersey before a 2003 high school game that pitted St. Vincent-St. Mary against Walsh.<\/p>\n

And then there’s that “Just a Kid” from Akron who has shattered NBA milestones and arguably has earned the moniker of being the GOAT (greatest of all time), LeBron James.<\/p>\n

Actor Halle Berry, who is an Oscar-winner in addition to being a Bond girl, was born in Cleveland and graduated from Cuyahoga Community College, is another solid choice.<\/p>\n

Although Condoleezza Rice, who was a national security adviser and the secretary of state, was born in Alabama, she has publicly professed over the years she is a diehard Browns fan.<\/p>\n

There was a rumor at one time that she was in consideration to be the team’s head coach.<\/p>\n

Another out-of-state candidate could be musician Machine Gun Kelly.<\/p>\n

MGK was born in Texas and his family moved around a bit before calling the Cleveland suburb of Shaker Heights home.<\/p>\n

The NFL could get a twofer with MGK playing the halftime show, too.<\/p>\n

They could even serve coffee from his 27 Club Coffee shop<\/a> in Cleveland in the luxury suites.<\/p>\n

And then there’s Cleveland native Drew Carey, who flunked out of Kent State twice before finding humor in the Marines.<\/p>\n

The comedian went on to star in a self-titled TV sitcom that was a love letter to the city that has never seen a Super Bowl, even if the team’s payroll’s price was just right.<\/p>\n

A more fitting tribute and a nod to the years of frustration and disappointment could simply be a mystery announcer \u2026 that certain fan who seems to show up for just about every home game who sits in the stands with a paper bag over their head.<\/p>\n
