NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Keep an eye out for former Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker on your screens this afternoon. <\/p>\n

Walker will make an appearance on televisions across the world in a Super Bowl commercial<\/a> for prostate cancer screening. <\/p>\n

He will be featured among current and former NFL tight ends in the commercial for Novartis, according to the Tennessee Titans. <\/a><\/p>\n

The group of players will be shown relaxing, doing yoga, lounging in a pool and painting. Walker will appear in a hammock in the commercial. <\/p>\n

\"WSMV<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cWe just really want to stop the stigma on what people think of a cancer screening,\u201d Walker said. \u201cGuys my age, 40 and up, when you think about prostate cancer they think of rectal exams. With this campaign, we are just trying to get people to understand it is as easy as a blood test, and that is where the campaign \u2018Relax, it\u2019s a blood test\u2019 comes from.\u201d<\/p>\n

The campaign hit close to home for Walker, according to the Tennessee Titans, because his father-in-law died from prostate cancer. <\/p>\n

\u201cI am thankful to be a part of it and get the message out,\u201d Walker told his former team. \u201cIf he had caught it earlier, maybe we could have prevented it from happening. But that\u2019s the message, to try and catch it early. If you can catch it early, you can prevent it from taking your life.\u201d <\/p>\n

Walker said that if they can get more people talking about prostate cancer screenings and being more health conscious in 2026, then they will have done their jobs. <\/p>\n
