Many hoped that he would succeed John Harbaugh as Baltimore\u2019s head coach before he was poached by Seattle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Those same fans have less fond memories of the Patriots\u2019 playoff dominance in the Brady\/Belichick years. So it\u2019s no surprise that Ravens fans overwhelmingly picked the Seahawks to beat the Patriots in Super Bowl LX:<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">There\u2019s plenty of reason to believe in Macdonald and his team, who are currently 4.5-point favorites, <a href=\"https:\/\/sportsbook.fanduel.com\/navigation\/nfl\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">per FanDuel<\/a>. Their defense has been dominant all year and Sam Darnold has been excellent in back-to-back games.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">The Patriots, meanwhile, barely snuck by the Bo Nix-less Broncos in the AFC Championship Game. Neither team could produce much offense through the weather, but it\u2019s easy to imagine a Denver win if Nix was healthy. New England\u2019s defense has still been among the league\u2019s best, but Drake Maye will face a tough test against an elite defense.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Ravens fans also voiced their approval of the team\u2019s new coordinators, Declan Doyle and Anthony Weaver:<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">91% of fans gave Baltimore\u2019s coordinators a B or better. Doyle is a young, exciting offensive mind who has since surrounded himself with veteran assistants, while Weaver brings experience and familiarity with the Ravens Way to help the team transition to their new coaching staff.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Ravens fans have extremely fond memories of Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald.
