The Arizona Cardinals<\/a> have lots of uncertainty at the quarterback position. However, there is one thing they are trying to do \u2014 move Kyler Murray and his contract.<\/p>\n According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter<\/a>, the Cardinals and Miami Dolphins<\/a> “would like to find trade partners for their starting quarterbacks.” The Dolphins want to move on from Tua Tagovailoa with new head coach Joff Hafley. The Cardinals, with new head coach Mike LaFleur, would like to trade Murray.<\/p>\n This is not unexpected. He did not play after Week 5, when he injured his foot.<\/p>\n He is due more than $22.8 million in salary and has a $17 million roster bonus due. His $19.5 million salary for 2027 becomes guaranteed if he is on a roster on March 15.<\/p>\n For a team taking him on, it would basically be a two-year commitment for $75.5 million, which isn’t awful for a player a team sees as a starting quarterback. However, coming off the injury, it would mean more than just taking a flyer on him.<\/p>\n Need a news break? It was too early to know that.<\/p>\n Who are possible trade partners for Kyler Murray?<\/p>\n The New York Jets make sense. So do the Pittsburgh Steelers, unless Aaron Rodgers returns, which is a real possibility right now.<\/p>\n The Atlanta Falcons are going to release Kirk Cousins, and Michael Penix Jr. is recovering from a torn ACL.<\/p>\n The Indianapolis Colts<\/a> might have interest. So might the Minnesota Vikings<\/a>, if they are willing to move off of J.J. McCarthy.
