Security \u2014 with an assist from Patriots wide receiver Kyle Williams \u2014 needed to take down a streaker during the fourth quarter of Super Bowl 2026 on Sunday.<\/p>\n

With 12:54 remaining in the game and the Patriots\u2019 offense on the field, a shirtless fan, with a message written across his back and his chest, sprinted onto the field, and one video clip showed him crossing midfield and weaving through a cluster of security guards.<\/p>\n

The streak spread his arms out wide as he glanced around him and continued running.<\/p>\n

Then, Williams, a rookie wideout, started to give chase, and the streaker slid near the 10-yard line as Williams and a security guard closed in.<\/p>\n

While the moment wasn\u2019t shown on the NBC broadcaster, play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico sarcastically referred to the man as a \u201crocket scientist\u201d as the game stopped for security to address the incident.<\/p>\n

It marked just the latest Super Bowl with a streaker, too, as a shirtless man ran onto the field \u2014 but didn\u2019t make it far before getting tackled \u2014 two years ago during the Chiefs\u2019 showdown<\/a> with the 49ers, and two people were arrested that night for streaking<\/a>.<\/p>\n

There were streakers who were arrested during Super Bowls 2021 and 2020, too.<\/p>\n

After the stoppage, the Patriots\u2019 offense continued driving down the field and scored their first touchdown of the game, when quarterback Drake Maye connected with Mack Hollins.<\/p>\n

But the New England struggled to move the ball the rest of the night against a suffocating Seattle defense, with Maye turning the ball over three times \u2014 with two interceptions \u2014 and watching as one of his fumbles was returned 44 yards for a touchdown during Seattle\u2019s 29-13 win<\/a>.<\/p>\n
