Maxx Crosby has apparently made his stance on the Raiders clear.<\/p>\n

Per an anonymous general manager, Crosby told Tom Brady, the Raiders\u2019 new minority owner, that he doesn\u2019t want to play for Las Vegas again.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe told them he\u2019ll retire before he ever plays for them again,\u201d the unnamed GM told Jason La Canfora<\/a> of SportsBoom.com. \u201cBut I\u2019m not sure they\u2019re actually going to trade him. Myles Garrett said the same thing last year, and we know how that ended up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Garrett notably stayed in Cleveland, received a massive new contract and set the NFL sack record (23).<\/p>\n

Another general manager also shared that same sentiment on if they think the trade would actually happen.<\/p>\n

\u201cSomeone is going to offer them two (first-round picks), but I don\u2019t think they jump at it,\u201d the second GM said. \u201cI think you are going to have to really knock them over.\u201d<\/p>\n

Crosby\u2019s supposed comments follow conflict with the organization in recent weeks. After suffering a midseason knee injury, Crosby thought that he would play through it for the rest of the season. But he was ultimately shut down for the Raiders\u2019 final two games as the franchise seemingly tried to strengthen its grasp on the No. 1 pick.<\/p>\n

After the news, Crosby reportedly stormed out<\/a> of Las Vegas\u2019 facility.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, I don\u2019t give a s\u2013t about the pick,\u201d Crosby said later that week. \u201cI don\u2019t play for that. My job is to be the best defensive end in the world. That\u2019s what I focus on every day.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The seventh-year defensive end has also been the center of numerous trade rumors<\/a> throughout the last few months. After his end of season fiasco, Raiders general manager John Spytek said Crosby \u201cembodies what a Raider is,\u201d declining to comment on if he was \u201cuntradable.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later, The Athletic reported that many believed the Raiders would be open to trading Crosby if they remained on poor terms. And after a minor post-season meniscus surgery<\/a>, NFL Network\u2019s Ian Rapoport said he expects that if the Raiders move Crosby, it\u2019ll be after the 2026 NFL Draft in April.<\/p>\n

But Crosby \u2014 who totaled 10 sacks in 15 games in 2025 \u2014 emphasized that he hadn\u2019t requested a trade<\/a> out of Las Vegas before Monday\u2019s comment.<\/p>\n

The Raiders will be led by first-time head coach Klint Kubiak in 2026, and they also must decide who to draft with the No. 1 pick.<\/p>\n
