{"id":741211,"date":"2026-02-09T22:28:18","date_gmt":"2026-02-09T22:28:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/741211\/"},"modified":"2026-02-09T22:28:18","modified_gmt":"2026-02-09T22:28:18","slug":"valentines-day-super-bowl-is-coming-to-sofi-stadium-in-2027-daily-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/741211\/","title":{"rendered":"Valentine\u2019s Day Super Bowl is coming to SoFi Stadium in 2027 \u2013 Daily News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Now that the dust has settled from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailynews.com\/2026\/02\/08\/seahawks-sam-darnold-wins-1st-super-bowl-title-in-rout-of-patriots\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Seattle Seahawks\u2019 victory over the New England Patriots<\/a> in Super Bowl XL, the countdown has begun for the big game\u2019s return to the Los Angeles area after a five-year absence.<\/p>\n<p>The Los Angeles Super Bowl Host Committee, led by the Los Angeles Sports &amp; Entertainment Commission, officially received the handoff of Super Bowl LXI that will be played at SoFi Stadium on Feb. 14, 2027.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to return to the world-class SoFi Stadium for Super Bowl LXI, five years after the Los Angeles Rams lifted the Lombardi Trophy on their home field,\u201d NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said Monday. \u201cLA is our backyard: two franchises, NFL Network, incredible media partners and in 2028, flag football in the Summer Olympics.
