\u201cThe G-D Jets<\/a>.\u201d <\/p>\n With that line from the film \u201cBig Daddy,\u201d New York Jets fans were gifted another dandy of a pop culture reference. The star of the movie, Adam Sander, knew exactly what he was doing. <\/p>\n After all, he is, indeed, a fan of the team, which is precisely why he received flak for a certain decision he made at Super Bowl LX.<\/p>\n Thanks to a particular camera angle from the NBC broadcast team \u2014 with commentary from Mike Tirico \u2014 Sander appeared to be wearing a New England Patriots cap.<\/p>\n \u201cAdam Sandler, supporting the Patriots, as per usual.\u201d<\/p>\n Believe this is literally the first time in my life I\u2019ve seen the Sand Man supporting the Patriots. After all, what\u2019s the digital sports media world without insane overreactions in real time? Hey, when the entire industry rewards those who are quick to hit the send button, what else can one expect?<\/p>\n In any event, Sandler even released a video in which he mentioned the Jets potentially playing in Super Bowl LXI before the game even kicked off. Granted, his \u201cyeahhh\u201d of a punctuation took on more of a sarcastic movie tone, but nevertheless, he made sure not to leave his team out in the cold. <\/p>\n Unfortunately for Sandler, the Jets\u2019 Super Bowl LXI odds<\/a> aren\u2019t exactly stellar. Then again, neither were the New England Patriots at this time last year. <\/p>\n
