Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Devin Lloyd is projected to be a top earner in the upcoming free agency period.Lloyd was named a second-team All-Pro and made his first Pro Bowl after a standout 2025 season.<\/p>\n

No surprise, but Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> linebacker Devin Lloyd is projected to be a top earner in free agency this offseason.<\/p>\n

Mason Cameron of Pro Football Focus<\/a> recently went through each position group and selected the free agent who he believes will earn the biggest payday. At linebacker, Cameron’s selection was Lloyd.<\/p>\n

“The former first-round pick posted above a 75.0 PFF overall grade in each of the past three seasons, culminating in a 2025 campaign where he produced a career-best 89.1 mark, the second-highest among qualifying linebackers,” wrote Cameron. “The second-team All-Pro stood out as the only linebacker to earn an 80.0-plus grade as a run defender, pass rusher, and in coverage.”<\/p>\n

Cameron is projecting that Lloyd earns a three-year deal worth $48 million. Spotrac<\/a>, meanwhile, is projecting that Lloyd earns north of $20 million per year on his next deal.<\/p>\n

As PFF’s grading system highlights, Lloyd did a bit of everything for the Jaguars<\/a>‘ defense, with his do-it-all skill set unlocked in Anthony Campanile’s defensive scheme.<\/p>\n

He finished the season totaling 25 pressures as a blitzer during the regular season, and ranked 11th among linebackers in\u00a0PFF’s run defense grade.<\/a> In coverage, he recorded five interceptions and two pass breakups.<\/p>\n

Along with being named a second-team All-Pro, Lloyd made his first Pro Bowl as well.<\/p>\n

“Extremely happy for Devin and his production this season,”\u00a0Gladstone said in his end-of-season press conference,<\/a>\u00a0“and finding real footing in a way that aligned with what he knew he could be.<\/p>\n

“Looking forward to working through the offseason process with our coaching staff and everyone else to determine what’s best for everybody and seeing if there’s something to be done.”<\/p>\n
