The Chargers are reportedly adding yet another former Dolphins coach as former Miami run game specialist Chandler Henley is expected to join Los Angeles\u2019 coaching staff, per CBS Sports\u2019 Matt Zenitz.<\/p>\n
Henley has spent the past four seasons under Mike McDaniel and he\u2019s got a rather impressive resume in regards to elite running back seasons.<\/p>\n
From 2018-2020, Henley was a part of a Titan coaching staff that helped current Ravens star running back Derrick Henry record a 2,027-yard season. In 2021, his lone year with the Falcons, Henley helped wide receiver-turned-running back Cordarrelle Patterson reach 1,166 yards total yards of offense and 11 total touchdowns. Then with the Dolphins, Henley helped third-year back De\u2019Von Achane reach 1,838 yards of offense and 12 total touchdowns in 2025.<\/p>\n
I truly believe this is a great hire by the Chargers and keeping McDaniel\u2019s offensive staff as familiar as possible in hopes of churning out similar, productive results is the right process.
