Former NFL player Channing Crowder said it was \u201cweird\u201d to see North Carolina football coach Bill Belichick being managed by his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, during Belichick\u2019s appearance on \u201cThe Pivot\u201d podcast earlier this month.<\/p>\n
Crowder, who co-hosts the show with former NFL players Fred Taylor and Ryan Clark, explained that Hudson \u201cchoreographed the open\u201d with Belichick, which aired on May 16<\/a> \u2014 and began with just Clark and Belichick discussing Hudson\u2019s role in his life and the discourse around his disastrous interview with \u201cCBS Sunday Morning\u201d last month.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s all in if you talk football, but if you start talking personal stuff he starts doing the mumble and the one-word answers and his old lady is different,\u201d Crowder, who starred as Dolphins pass-rusher from 2005-\u201910, said on his WQAM podcast with Marc Hochman \u00a0\u201cHochman and Crowder\u201d<\/a> last week.<\/p>\n \u201cShe lurks. YouTube\/The Pivot Podcast<\/p>\n The interview opened with Clark asking about the legendary coach calling Hudson his \u201cidea mill\u201d and \u201ccreative muse\u201d in his new book, \u201cThe Art of Winning,\u201d which made the New York Times best-seller list.<\/p>\n Clark next asked Belichick if CBS had asked him about the inclusion of Hudson in his book, and he replied that they had, \u201cbut that wasn\u2019t shown.\u201d<\/p>\n Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson. Instagram\/Jordon Hudson<\/p>\n Clark brought up how CBS aired Hudson interrupting the interview to stop Belichick from answering a question about how the couple met \u2014 and then Clark asked Belichick how he balances his personal life without it becoming a distraction.<\/p>\n Clark was the only one who spoke with Belichick about his personal life before the conversation shifted to football with Crowder and Taylor.<\/p>\n Belichick has been on a media tour to promote his book, while also doing damage control from the fallout of his interview with CBS.<\/p>\n Multiple reports have painted Hudson in a negative light, alleging that she\u2019s controlling his career in order to further her own. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n Public records list Hudson as the manager of several companies including All BB Team LLC, Coach Show LLC and Chapel Bill LLC.<\/p>\n An investigation by former ESPN reporter Pablo Torre alleged Hudson\u00a0was banned from UNC athletic facilities,<\/a>\u00a0which the university and Belichick denied in a joint statement.<\/p>\n Hudson denied Torre\u2019s allegations<\/a> in a now-deleted fiery Instagram Story. <\/p>\n
