One of the biggest questions of this offseason for the Arizona Cardinals<\/a> this offseason will be what they do with quarterback Kyler Murray.<\/p>\n ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Cardinals are actively seeking to trade him<\/a>.<\/p>\n Hwo much could they get for him?<\/p>\n According to ESPN’s Ben Solak<\/a>, it won’t likely be much. He projects only a Day 3 pick.<\/p>\n Why?<\/p>\n Need a news break? It looked like initially he would come back after about a month, but then he was placed on injured reserve and reports said it just never got better.<\/p>\n A quarterback who relies on athleticism for a big part of his game and has a lingering foot injury that was slow to heal is not going to be desired.<\/p>\n The question is whether he is now healed. When did he heal and was the IR stint more about avoiding controversy with Jacoby Brissett as the starter.<\/p>\n His contract<\/p>\n A team trading for Murray before his roster bonus is due on March 15 gets a solid deal for an established starter. However, if a team is acquiring him as a veteran flyer, it is costly.<\/p>\n He will be paid $22.8 million salary in 2026 and a $17 million roster bonus, all guaranteed. On March 15, his $19.5 million salary will become guaranteed, and he will be due a $14.2 million roster bonus, including a $2 million bonus in training camp, plus two years of workout bonuses worth over $3.6 million total.<\/p>\n In all, it is nearly $77.2 million over two years in financial commitment.
