San Francisco 49er Keion White<\/a> was shot following an argument with rapper Lil Baby and his entourage<\/a> at the football player\u2019s Super Bowl party, according to a police report.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old defensive end was shot in the ankle just after 4 a.m. on Monday at Dahlia Lounge<\/a> in San Francisco. As of Tuesday, no arrests had been made and no suspect had been publicly identified.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur officers are working diligently on this investigation, and we\u2019re following multiple leads<\/a>,\u201d Evan Sernoffsky, the SFPD\u2019s director of strategic communications, told NBC\u2019s Bay Area affiliate.<\/p>\n

Lil Baby, whose name is Dominique Jones, had performed at another post-Super Bowl party in the city earlier that night after attending the big game. Witnesses reportedly told police that the 31-year-old rapper tried to enter White\u2019s private event but started arguing with the footballer when he and his friends were turned away.<\/p>\n

According to the police report, obtained by the San Francisco Standard, a witness left to get help from the venue\u2019s staff when they heard two loud bangs. They said they returned to find White had been shot in the left leg. Another attendee said she heard four gunshots but didn\u2019t see who shot White.<\/p>\n

Evidence of at least two different types of ammunition as well as an abandoned cellphone were found at the scene. Police also took surveillance footage from the club, which they hope will aid the investigation, despite White allegedly being uncooperative when cops arrived.<\/p>\n

The 49ers said on Monday that White had successfully undergone surgery<\/a> and his injury is not considered to be career-threatening.<\/p>\n

While police previously said \u201ca preliminary investigation revealed a verbal altercation occurred between two groups\u201d inside of Dahlia\u2019s, there was have been conflicting reports on White\u2019s involvement.<\/p>\n
