Sure, some players such as Christian Gonzalez did all they could to keep the Patriots in contention, but at the end of the day it was not enough to secure the title.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Now heading into the offseason, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patspulpit.com\/new-england-patriots-media-transcripts-statements-interviews\/122019\/mike-vrabel-foundation-rebuild\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Patriots are about to remodel<\/a>, as head coach Mike Vrabel called it.
