NFL draft writer Chad Reuter has a new three-round mock draft out for the 2026 NFL draft. You can check out the whole thing right here<\/a>, but we want to focus on the picks for the Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a>. The Steelers are heading into the offseason with new head coach Mike McCarthy and a new coaching staff. This means nearly every position is an option for changes. Here we take a look at the Steelers’ five picks.<\/p>\n

First round – WR Kevin Concepcion – Texas A&M<\/p>\n

We could absolutely see the Steelers go on the clock with the No. 21 overall pick and Concepcion being the highest-rated receiver on the board. And while we don’t see Concepcion as a bad receiver prospect, what he offers in a Mike McCarthy offense would be in more of a slot role, and this isn’t what Pittsburgh needs out of its first-round pick.<\/p>\n

Second round – G Billy Schrauth – Notre Dame<\/p>\n

Schrauth is climbing up draft boards, and he has a shot to impress at the combine, but it’s hard to see this as a good value pick. Like the Concepcion pick, this feels like filling a need without considering if the player is worth the slot.<\/p>\n

If Allar is healthy, we wouldn’t put it past the Steelers to make this pick, especially with Garrett Nussmeier going one pick before them to the Miami Dolphins<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Third round – LB Deonte Lawson – Alabama<\/p>\n

If the Steelers cut Patrick Queen to save salary cap space, Deonte Lawson is a great replacement. He’s a solid run defender and athletic enough to play coverage.<\/p>\n

Third round – CB Charles Demmings – Stephen F. Austin<\/p>\n

Demmings had a strong week at the Senior Bowl and that pushed him into the Top 100 for Reuter.
