Nebraska is in the running for class of 2027 safety Tavares Harrington. He spoke with Steve Wiltfong<\/a> (subscription needed) earlier this week about his relationship with the program.<\/p>\n The four-star prospect is the 122nd-ranked player in the 2027 class, the 12th overall safety in his class, and the seventh overall player from the state of Illinois per the Rivals Industry Rankings.<\/a><\/p>\n Harrington goes to Mount Carmel High School in Chicago. This is the same high school as 2026 Husker offensive tackle commit Claude Mpouma.<\/p>\n The safety indicated that secondary coach Addison Williams stopped for an in-house visit. He also said the relationship with the coaches is strengthening and that he is excited about what the Huskers are doing.<\/p>\n This would be another strong addition to the already loaded 2027 class. The class currently ranks seventh nationally in\u00a0the Rivals Industry Rankings.<\/p>\n Need a news break?
