One such problem is the succession plan at the quarterback position. Even as veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford earned MVP honors, the team must define a succession plan for the ever-vital quarterback role.

“This year’s incoming class of quarterback prospects is not drawing much excitement aside from Fernando Mendoza, who is expected to be the first overall pick. So while the Rams likely won’t be clamoring to select a quarterback in the first round, they could certainly do their homework on the signal-callers who could hear their name called in the other six rounds, which includes Cade Klubnik out of Clemson.”

“The Rams will bring back the core guys next season as they look to be better next season. Head coach Sean McVay and general manager Les Snead will look to put together a roster that is better than the one they had last season.

This team does have holes on its roster, and getting the right fits will go a long way toward getting back to the NFC Championship game and winning the Super Bowl in their own Stadium once again.
