There\u2019s another development in the Maxx Crosby saga.<\/p>\n
Following reports that the Raiders\u2019 star edge rusher told Las Vegas minority owner Tom Brady he wants to be traded<\/a> last week, Crosby responded to those rumors this week.<\/p>\n Crosby didn\u2019t directly address the report during an appearance on the latest episode of the \u201cLet\u2019s Go!\u201d podcast, mentioning that he doesn\u2019t want to rehash everything with each new development.<\/p>\n Maxx Crosby recorded 10 sacks in 15 games with the Raiders in 2025 while working through numerous injuries. Getty Images<\/p>\n He added he\u2019s constantly been getting messages on his phone about the situation.<\/p>\n \u201cEveryone\u2019s hitting me up, \u2018Did you say this?\u2019 I can\u2019t control that,\u201d Crosby said. \u201cYou earn that as a player. If I wasn\u2019t doing the right things and if I wasn\u2019t the person and player I was, people wouldn\u2019t be talking about all of the nonsense.\u201d<\/p>\n Crosby added all the noise surrounding him is due to his success on the field and personality off of it.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you have drama, if you have a losing season, they just try to throw gasoline on the fire and make things a certain way,\u201d Crosby said. \u201cFor me, I know what I\u2019m about, I know what I represent. I really don\u2019t care what everybody has to say.\u201d<\/p>\n When asked about his goals, the seven-year veteran \u2014 who\u2019s accumulated 69.5 career sacks, all with the Raiders \u2014 said he wants to be in a place where he\u2019s 100 percent himself.<\/p>\n \u201cI just want to play football and be left the f\u2013k alone,\u201d Crosby said.<\/p>\n Despite Crosby\u2019s recent drama, Raiders newly appointed head coach Klint Kubiak and owner Mark Davis said in Kubiak\u2019s introductory press conference Tuesday that they want Crosby to remain a Raider<\/a>.<\/p>\n Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak (left) speaks at his introductory press conference, where Maxx Crosby wasn\u2019t present. IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters Connect<\/p>\n Notably, though, Crosby was absent from the press conference<\/a>, while a number of his teammates, including running back Ashton Jeanty, attended.<\/p>\n Kubiak did mention that he and Crosby had met earlier that morning, and he was \u201clooking forward to continuing those conversations.\u201d<\/p>\n Crosby\u2019s relationship with the Raiders has turned sour over the last few months. At the end of the regular season, Las Vegas decided to shut down Crosby for its final two games due to a lingering knee injury.<\/p>\n Thinking he could still play, Crosby reportedly stormed out<\/a> of the Raiders\u2019 facility when he was told the news.<\/p>\n Maxx Crosby during the 2025 season.
