Joe has no earthly idea how the Bucs really feel about fourth-year running back Sean Tucker.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s common at One Buc Palace to say Tucker needs more touches \u2026 and then to not give him more touches.<\/p>\n

Tucker was stuck at No. 3 on the Bucs\u2019 depth chart for three years but now running back Rachaad White has left the building, happily strutting toward free agency telling everyone he can\u2019t wait to leave Tampa.<\/p>\n

Does that mean the Bucs are excited to bump Tucker up to the No. 2 role? Joe can\u2019t go there. The evidence isn\u2019t there.<\/p>\n

And given questions surrounding Bucky Irving after a rough season on and off the field, Joe suspects the Bucs want a free agent running back.<\/p>\n

So how about a guy Bucs fans are too familiar with? No, Joe\u2019s not talking about Tyler Allgeier again<\/a>. Joe is referring to Brian Robinson.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t remember him? With Washington in 2024, Robinson had 40 yards rushing and a touchdown on 12 carries, plus 49 yards receiving against Tampa Bay on opening day. And the Bucs saw him again in the playoffs. He had a big postseason game against Detroit (15 carries for 77 yards and 2 touchdowns) a week after Washington knocked the Bucs out of the postseason.<\/p>\n

Last summer, Washington traded Robinson to the 49ers for a sixth-round pick. He played in every game as a backup and amassed 400 yards rushing on 92 carries with 2 touchdowns. He\u2019s been a steady career performer after Washington drafted him seven picks after the Bucs took White in the 2022 draft.<\/p>\n

At 6-2, 225 pounds, Robinson is an intriguing complement to Bucky Irving.<\/p>\n

Joe\u2019s not calling for the Bucs to chase Robinson, but he feels like a safe choice if confidence in Tucker is a thing of the past. And Joe admits to being intrigued that 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan was hungry to trade for Robinson.<\/p>\n
