Based on their play in the regular season and playoffs, he then listed those quarterbacks from 1 to 63.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Rounding out Tier 1 was Lawrence, who came in at No. 6 in these rankings. At the top was Matthew Stafford, followed by Josh Allen, Dak Prescott, Drake Maye, and Justin Herbert.<\/p>\n<p>A year ago, Lawrence was No. 26 on Shook&#8217;s list.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Lawrence was a laser-accurate passer, used his legs more than he ever has as a pro and proved to be the unrelenting engine behind a <a href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/football\/nfl\/teams\/jacksonville-jaguars\/365\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Jaguars;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Jaguars<\/a> team that evolved into an offensive machine in the second half of the season,&#8221; Shook wrote.<\/p>\n<p>As the season went on and Lawrence got more comfortable in Liam Coen&#8217;s offense, he really began to take off.<\/p>\n<p>Leading the Jaguars&#8217; offense, Jacksonville averaged nearly 33 points per game during their eight-game winning streak.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Lawrence, specifically, ranked fourth among all quarterbacks in total passing yards in that stretch of games, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pff.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:per PFF;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">per PFF<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He was also third in yards per pass attempt, second in passing touchdowns, and had the fifth-lowest turnover-worthy play rate. We also saw Lawrence make a lot of plays with his legs.<\/p>\n<p>Overall in 2025, Lawrence completed 61% of his passes for 4,214 yards with 41 total touchdowns &#8212; including 32 passing &#8212; to 14 interceptions.<\/p>\n<p>Compared to the rest of his position group, Lawrence was seventh in passing yards and fourth in passing touchdowns.<\/p>\n<p>A strong foundation was established in 2025 for Lawrence within Coen&#8217;s offense, providing him with a jumping-off point going into Year 2.
