GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (WFRV) \u2013 There was a lot to love at the 25th edition of the Green Bay Packers Charity softball game on Friday night.<\/p>\n

Packers quarterback Jordan Love hosted the event which took place at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute. On the field, the offense beat the defense 6-4. But, this is one of those events that is about much more than the final score of a softball game.<\/p>\n

The event raised money for Love\u2019s \u2018Hands of 10ve\u2019 Foundation<\/a>. About 5000 people showed up to the game on Friday night.<\/p>\n

\u201cHands of 10ve\u2019 foundation, I wanted to contribute to that too,\u201d said Packers fan Aaron Davis. \u201cI love Jordan Love, what he\u2019s doing for the team and what he\u2019s doing for the community.\u201d<\/p>\n

Many fans tailgate in the parking lot ahead of the first pitch. They said Friday was a chance to get a little taste of a Packers gameday atmosphere during the long offseason.<\/p>\n

Longtime host and former Packers wide receiver Donald Driver was also at the game on Friday night. He didn\u2019t play this year, but said that he wanted to be there to support Love and to get to hang out with all the Packers fans.<\/p>\n
