{"id":749334,"date":"2026-02-13T13:29:10","date_gmt":"2026-02-13T13:29:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/749334\/"},"modified":"2026-02-13T13:29:10","modified_gmt":"2026-02-13T13:29:10","slug":"kyle-van-noy-says-broncos-should-sign-this-player","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/749334\/","title":{"rendered":"Kyle Van Noy says Broncos should sign this player"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Feb. 13, 2026, 6:01 a.m. MT<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">While the <a href=\"\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">Denver Broncos<\/a> were at home watching the Super Bowl between the <a href=\"https:\/\/seahawkswire.usatoday.com\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Seattle Seahawks<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/patriotswire.usatoday.com\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">New England Patriots<\/a>, the answer to why the <a href=\"\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">Broncos<\/a> lost in the AFC Championship became painfully clear: a lack of a powerful rushing attack.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Despite the calls by fans and media to run the football effectively, and despite head coach Sean Payton continuing to <a href=\"http:\/\/broncoswire.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/nfl\/broncos\/2024\/12\/25\/nfl-news-sean-payton-doesnt-like-cameras-show-play-sheet\/77212319007\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">write &#8220;Run it!!&#8221;<\/a> on his play sheet, the Denver rushing attack often fell flat, rushing for more than 120 yards in only seven games.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Seattle&#8217;s rushing attack netted running back Kenneth Walker III the <a href=\"http:\/\/broncoswire.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/nfl\/broncos\/2026\/02\/09\/nfl-news-ken-walker-joined-terrell-davis-super-bowl-mvp\/88590390007\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">first Super Bowl MVP for a running back<\/a> since Terrell Davis in 1997, and since Walker is a free agent going into 2026, many fans called for the <a href=\"\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">Broncos<\/a> to sign Walker to complement Harvey. While <a href=\"\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">Broncos<\/a> legend T.J. Ward <a href=\"http:\/\/broncoswire.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/nfl\/broncos\/2026\/02\/11\/nfl-free-agency-phillip-lindsay-ken-walker-for-broncos\/88611519007\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">disagreed with those arguments<\/a>, an unexpected voice entered the chat with an alternative solution.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ravenswire.usatoday.com\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Baltimore Ravens<\/a> pass rusher Kyle Van Noy replied to Ward&#8217;s tweet, saying Denver should target current <a href=\"https:\/\/thefalconswire.usatoday.com\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Atlanta Falcons<\/a> running back Tyler Allgeier. &#8220;I think yall should pick up Tyler Allgeier,&#8221; said Van Noy. &#8220;Denver should be all in this year with (<a href=\"\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">Broncos<\/a> quarterback Bo Nix) on a rookie deal still. Hes a dog that can be RB1 with change of pace of (running back RJ) Harvey.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Allgeier, a fourth-year player out of BYU, was drafted by the <a href=\"https:\/\/thefalconswire.usatoday.com\/\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Falcons<\/a> in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL draft. Since a productive rookie campaign, Allgeier has largely become second-fiddle to Atlanta&#8217;s explosive starting back, Bijan Robinson.
