Keenan Allen said Friday there\u2019s a real chance he\u2019s not back in a Chargers uniform in 2026.<\/p>\n
During an interview with The California Post at the Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Allen said he\u2019s still not sure what\u2019s in store for him in 2026.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t know what I\u2019m going to be doing this year,\u201d he said. \u201cOptions are still open.\u201d<\/p>\n

Allen added retirement is on the table, though he\u2019s \u201cstill hoping I can play.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cAnything is possible,\u201d he said. \u201cBut like I said, I\u2019m going to be ready to play.\u201d<\/p>\n
Allen, 33, played the first 11 seasons of his career with the Chargers after he was picked by the team in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft.<\/p>\n
He spent the 2024 season with the Bears but returned to the Bolts on a one-year deal in 2025.<\/p>\n

In 17 games, he racked up 81 catches for 777 yards and four touchdowns \u2014 leaving many Chargers supporters hoping for a \u201926 return.<\/p>\n
But Allen said it won\u2019t exactly be Los Angeles or nowhere next season.<\/p>\n
