Chargers<\/a> wide receiver Keenan Allen has been linked to the Saints<\/a> in free agency.<\/p>\n

New Orleans’ head coach Kellen Moore served as Los Angeles’ offensive coordinator in 2023, and Allen was one of his primary wideouts on the roster. Now, as an unrestricted free agent, Allen could join Moore in New Orleans.<\/p>\n

Greg Auman<\/a> of FOX Sports predicts Allen will sign with the Saints this offseason.<\/p>\n

“Allen, 33, returned to the Chargers in 2025 and still found a way to get 81 catches for 777 yards and four touchdowns. He’s easing into WR3 mode, but has a re\u0301sume\u0301 with 1,000-plus catches and 70 career touchdowns, so he’s a good fit for a team looking for a veteran mentor to pair with a young receiver. That could mean staying with the Chargers, but he’d be a nice value match for the Saints, who could use another playmaker and have Kellen Moore, who had him in 2023.”<\/p>\n

How Did Keenan Allen Perform in 2025?<\/p>\n

Allen’s return to the Chargers couldn’t have been better. He provided a veteran presence to a young receiver corps, finishing the season with 777 yards on 81 receptions and four touchdowns.<\/p>\n

During the 2025 campaign, Allen recorded his 1,000th career reception. While Allen is currently an unrestricted free agent, he’s expressed interest in returning to LA next season.<\/p>\n

Allen plans on continuing his playing career in 2026, and he wants to continue donning the powder blue.<\/p>\n

“Absolutely. Body feels good, healthy. Being in the locker room around guys like Ladd [McConkey], Justin [Herbert]-you know, like we talked about it.
