\nPatti Edwards, wife of the late BYU football coach LaVell Edwards, has died, the university announced on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026.<\/p>\n

Provo \u2022 Patti Edwards, wife of hall of fame BYU football coach LaVell Edwards, passed away at the age of 93, the BYU athletics department announced Saturday.<\/p>\n

Her death comes nearly 10 years after the death of LaVell Edwards.<\/p>\n

Originally from Big Piney, Wyoming, she met LaVell while he was playing for Utah State University, marrying him in 1952.<\/p>\n

She is survived by three children and 14 grandchildren.<\/p>\n
