The Miami Dolphins<\/a> are entering an uncertain offseason, as the franchise is in a weird spot after missing the playoffs for the second straight season after firing Mike McDaniel and replacing him with Jeff Hafley, while also hiring Jon-Eric Sullivan as the general manager.<\/p>\n

Miami’s quarterback situation is a complete disaster. The team will look to move on<\/a> from Tua Tagovailoa this offseason, but doesn’t have a clear-cut replacement for the Alabama product.<\/p>\n

With the Dolphins’ quarterback room in limbo, it would be wise for Miami to consider entering a full rebuild wth a new regime at the helm. That means wide receiver Jaylen Waddle could be available for trade.<\/p>\n

Waddle still has multiple years left on his deal, but he could be a trade candidate for the Dolphins as they enter a potential reset. As a result, FanSided’s Sayre Bedinger<\/a> lists the Washington Commanders<\/a>, Denver Broncos<\/a>, and Tennessee Titans<\/a> as possible landing spots for Waddle.<\/p>\n

After posting three straight 1,000-yard campaigns to begin his career, Waddle has had two down years, though he did tally 910 yards and six touchdowns in 2025 despite Miami’s abysmal quarterback play.<\/p>\n

Washington and Denver should look to add another dynamic receiver for their young quarterbacks, Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix.<\/p>\n

Both teams already have established No. 1 receivers in Terry McLaurin and Courtland Sutton, but pairing Waddle with either of them would form an electric receiver duo with a ton of versatility.<\/p>\n

Tennessee could also use Waddle, as the 27-year-old would immediately step in as Cam Ward’s top pass-catcher and provide a much-needed boost to the Titans’ aerial attack.<\/p>\n

We’ll see whether the Dolphins even consider moving Waddle, but it feels like a possibility as they embark on an offseason that could completely shift the direction of the franchise.<\/p>\n
