Albert Breer of SI<\/a> writes that he would be surprised if the Bengals retain DE Trey Hendrickson<\/a> after he only appeared in seven games.\u00a0
\nHendrickson\u2019s contract was officially voided on February 12. (Over The Cap<\/a>)
\nWith that, Breer could see Cincinnati being aggressive in the free agent market for defensive players.
\nBreer names Eagles OLB Jaelan Phillips<\/a>, Seahawks S Coby Bryant<\/a>, or Chiefs S Bryan Cook<\/a> as three potential free agents who make sense for the Bengals.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson<\/a> struggled with injuries throughout the year, finishing 6-7 in games he started. NFL Network analyst and Hall of Fame QB Kurt Warner<\/a> thinks Jackson missed plays that he typically executed in previous years.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cAs I was watching film, I couldn\u2019t put my finger on anything that said, \u2018Oh, OK, here\u2019s what he\u2019s doing different\u2019 or \u2018He\u2019s making bad decisions now that he didn\u2019t make before,’\u201d Warner said, via Jamison Hensley of ESPN<\/a>. \u201cIt wasn\u2019t that. It was more just missing plays that he\u2019s made a million times before.\u201d<\/p>\n

Broadcaster and former QB Rich Gannon<\/a> points out that Jackson\u2019s missing practice time ultimately impacts the quarterback\u2019s chemistry with the rest of the roster.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s had the ability in the past to go out and have fresh legs and do what he does, but eventually it can catch up to you,\u201d Gannon said. \u201cLook, it\u2019s not just that he\u2019s missing practice time. It\u2019s the guys around him that are missing those opportunities with him. It\u2019s the red zone throws you\u2019re not getting. It\u2019s the two-minute shots. It\u2019s the third-down packages that you\u2019re not getting as many reps with.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Warner is skeptical about missing practice being the predominant reason for Jackson\u2019s struggles.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cOne missed practice day, especially early in the week, is kind of like, OK, you\u2019re going to have plenty of days to make up for that and get back into the rhythm,\u201d Warner said. \u201cSo I don\u2019t think that\u2019s something that I would point to and say, \u2018Oh, that\u2019s the reason he\u2019s missing these throws.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Albert Breer of SI<\/a> thinks the Steelers\u2019 first order of business this offseason is to get a decision from Aaron Rodgers<\/a> on his future. If Rodgers isn\u2019t returning, finding a quarterback is obviously at the top of Pittsburgh\u2019s agenda.\u00a0
\nIf Rodgers comes back, Breer writes that adding a running back like the Jets\u2019 Breece Hall<\/a> or Kenneth Walker<\/a> III of the Seahawks makes sense.\u00a0<\/p>\n
