Two games provided more razzle-dazzle than the rest: Week 13’s Sunday Night Football matchup<\/a> against the Washington Commanders<\/a>, and the AFC divisional win<\/a> over the Buffalo Bills<\/a>.<\/p>\n Coming in at No. 4, was Broncos<\/a> quarterback Bo Nix’s final touchdown pass of the season, an absolute beauty of a toss to wide receiver Marvin Mims to put Denver up over the Bills<\/a> with one minute left in the fourth quarter. The Broncos<\/a> would go on to win in overtime.<\/p>\n At No. 3, was Bo Nix’s circus touchdown throw<\/a> to wide receiver Courtland Sutton against Washington. Nix’s knee was barely off the ground, and after a lengthy review, the score stood. It was one of the more athletic throws from the season as a whole.<\/p>\n Fittingly, the top two plays of the season came from the defense, a unit that dominated the NFL with 68 sacks in the regular season and landed in the top five of nearly every single defensive statistical category.<\/p>\n Need a news break? Pass-rusher Nik Bonitto came around the outside, bore down on Commanders’ quarterback Marcus Mariota on what could have been the game-winning two-point conversion, and batted down the pass, preserving a one-point Broncos<\/a> victory over Washington.<\/p>\n At No. 1 was perhaps the defining moment of the Broncos<\/a>‘ first playoff win since 2015, and definitely one of the most controversial<\/a> plays of the entire year. Cornerback Ja’Quan McMillian’s overtime interception of Josh Allen topped the list of the best plays of the season.
