Five former NFL players received a pardon from United States President Donald Trump this week.<\/p>\n

Among them was a person with strong ties to the Buffalo Bills<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The White House announced that former Bills running back Travis Henry was among that group of ex-NFL players:<\/p>\n

Buffalo’s former running back pleaded guilty to conspiracy to traffic cocaine in 2009. Henry was sentenced to three years in federal prison and it was reduced to two years after he completed a drug program in prison.<\/p>\n

A second-round pick of the Bills in 2001, Henry was in Buffalo until 2004. He rushed for 3,849 yards and 27 touchdowns while hauling in 103 receptions for 691 yards and two scores.<\/p>\n

Henry was traded to the Tennessee Titans<\/a> in 2005. His final NFL season was in 2007 with the Denver Broncos<\/a>.<\/p>\n
