Though, the Panthers\u2019 joy didn\u2019t last long after being eliminated in the wild card round with a 34-31 loss to the Rams.<\/p>\n<p>Now, the Panthers are working on strengthening the rest of Dave Canales\u2019 coaching staff. On Wednesday, they made a fairly significant hire.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/TomPelissero\/status\/2021605032492147167\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network<\/a>, the Panthers have hired Darrell Bevell as their new associate head coach\/offensive specialist. Bevell spent the past four seasons as the quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator of the <a href=\"https:\/\/sportsnaut.com\/tag\/miami-dolphins\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Miami Dolphins;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Miami Dolphins<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Bevell, 56, brings over three decades of NFL experience to the Panthers\u2019 staff. That includes three seasons as an NFL QB coach, 15 seasons as an offensive coordinator, and parts of two seasons as an interim head coach.
