The Arizona Cardinals<\/a> are saying goodbye to another of their defensive assistants. The latest is Ronald Booker.<\/p>\n Booker was the defensive quality control coach. He is now a defensive assistant for the New York Jets under head coach Aaron Glenn, working with nickels.<\/p>\n Booker had been with the Cardinals since 2020. He was a Bill Walsh Coaching Fellow in 2020 and 2021, and then hired full-time as a defensive assistant in Aug. 2021 under head coach Kliff Kingsbury. After 2022 when Jonathan Gannon became head coach, Booker became the defensive quality control coach for the next three seasons.<\/p>\n He is one of four defensive assistants to leave this offseason, even though defensive coordinator Nick Rallis was retained under new head coach Mike LaFleur.<\/p>\n The other assistants to leave were the following:<\/p>\n Need a news break?
