The Chicago Bears<\/a> were nothing if not thrilling during the 2025 season with their heart-stopping finishes and instant classic performances that helped lead them from worst to first, an NFC North title and their first playoff win in nearly two decades.<\/p>\n

The Bears<\/a> played in 13 games that were decided by one score, going 8-5 in that span. They found all sorts of ways to win, be it blocking a game-winning field goal, booting the game-winning field goal, winning in a shootout or orchestrating improbable comebacks against the hated Green Bay Packers<\/a>. Quarterback Caleb Williams led an NFL-record seven fourth-quarter comebacks in 2025.<\/p>\n

NFL.com<\/a> assembled a list of the top 10 most thrilling games from the 2025 season, and it’s no surprise that the Bears had multiple spots on the list given their penchant for late-game comebacks and thrilling finishes. When looking at this list, none of these games should come as a surprise as two of them will go down in the history books for Chicago. The Bears and Rams<\/a> tied for the most appearances on this list with four apiece.<\/p>\n

What they said: “Caleb Williams’ two red-zone picks earlier in the game appeared to kill Chicago’s chances, but in keeping with the Bears’ 2025 season, they found a way to scratch and claw back. They trailed by 11 points with just over six minutes remaining, but\u00a0Brandon McManus’ missed extra-point try and two missed field-goal attempts proved to be fatal. If McManus made any of those three tries, the Packers probably would have won. The final miss was critical, falling in between consecutive TD drives from the Bears, with Williams converting a few miracle plays. Williams’\u00a0fourth-and-8 throw\u00a0to\u00a0Rome Odunze\u00a0on the first of those drives might have been the most improbable conversion of a season for any\u00a0other\u00a0team, but it almost seemed preordained for Chicago after a campaign full of wild plays. Williams hit DJ Moore for the go-ahead score, capping the Bears’ 25-point fourth quarter (the third-most points ever scored in a postseason fourth quarter).
