Cleveland Browns<\/a>\u00a0star Ronnie Hickman was reportedly jumped by a group of men in the lobby of a New York hotel on Monday.<\/p>\n

According to The New York Post,<\/a> Hickman was confronted by four men in the lobby of the SIXTY LES hotel on the Lower East Side just after 4:30am.<\/p>\n

A dispute is then said to have broken out and the suspects attacked Hickman, 24, before making off.<\/p>\n

NYPD officers are now hunting the group and have not yet made any arrests.<\/p>\n

Hickman was taken to Bellevue Hospital and was in a stable condition before getting released later on Monday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Hickman is a New Jersey<\/a> native and is enjoying some downtime after the Browns finished their NFL season in January.\u00a0<\/p>\n

ABC7 claims<\/a>\u00a0the group recognized Hickman and, when he didn’t acknowledge them back, they started to attack him.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Hickman played college football at Ohio State University and later attended DePaul Catholic High School in Passaic, where he impressed.<\/p>\n

After going undrafted in 2023, the Browns signed Hickman and he has impressed ever since.\u00a0<\/p>\n

His best season yet came in 2025 as a starter. However, he is now a restricted free agent going into the offseason.<\/p>\n

Hickman is expected to re-sign with the Browns and is estimated to sign a contract worth in the region of $7million to $8m-a-year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
