Bills<\/a> have been built for a Super Bowl run. The window on \u201cprime-level\u201d Josh Allen probably is closing. Here are three offseason moves that would significantly impact some of their players\u2019 fantasy values.<\/p>\nMost dual-threat QBs begin a steep statistical decline in their early 30\u2019s. Allen will turn 30 in May. This past year, he averaged a career-low 27.1 pass attempts per start while enduring a career-high 40 sacks. His elite fantasy value is tied increasingly to a degree of rushing dominance that cannot be sustained for much longer.<\/p>\n
His 2026 fantasy value will hinge, in part, on what Buffalo\u2019s offensive line looks like this summer. Center Connor McGovern and guard David Edwards are free agents. They\u2019ll need to make tough decisions to stay under the salary cap. Allen will enter the season elite as always. But any downgrade to his offensive line could harm his normally bankable upside.<\/p>\n
In a similar vein, his WR corps needs a boost. Beyond Khalil Shakir and underperformer Keon Coleman, this franchise assembled a patchwork solution comprising Gabriel Davis, Brandin Cooks, Josh Palmer, Elijah Moore, Curtis Samuel, and Mecole Hardman. On paper, Allen had very little to work with beyond the ceiling-capped Shakir. Be on the lookout for a shake-up that yields a fantasy-relevant journeyman #2 WR.<\/p>\n
Finally, this team probably can\u2019t afford to keep Dawson Knox. Either he\u2019ll agree to restructure his contract, or the Bills might try to ship him elsewhere… or cut him altogether. If he\u2019s gone, Dalton Kincaid would be poised to take a big step forward.<\/p>\n
