While L.A. only finished seventh in team rushing yards with 2,152 and 14th in touchdowns with 17, the Rams were able to bludgeon teams over the course of drives to set up the No. 1 scoring offense all year.

The Rams were clear league-leaders in rushing efficiency based on a composite scatterplot that combined data from Pro Football Focus, ESPN, Sports Info Solutions, and nflfastR. L.A. is firmly in the upper-right quadrant of run offenses, which highlighted the team’s above-average run blocking with elite rush success rate.

Run blocking success is a huge part of this, but the combination of Kyren Williams and Blake Corum also played a huge role. Williams ranked seventh and Corum ranked 16th on PFF’s highest-graded running backs list from the 2025 season.

Williams never really had a dominant rushing performance on the season, as he never rushed for more than 110 yards in a game and only finished with one other 100-yard performance. However, he rushed for 1,485 yards on 312 carries thanks to his remarkable consistency, as he only rushed for under 50 yards in a game twice while posting a rushing grade sub-60.0 just once (Week 5 against the San Francisco 49ers, which was also the only game where he didn’t force a missed tackle).

After being a non-factor for much of his rookie season, Corum saw a major role increase in 2025, nearly tripling his snap totals in a relief role. Corum was very efficient as a runner despite a lack of opportunities, carrying the ball 175 times for 876 yards and six scores, while 28% of his rushes resulted in either first downs or touchdowns. He has yet to fumble once in his NFL career.

While Los Angeles wasn’t alone in having multiple highly graded backs, few teams matched the Rams’ combination of efficiency, volume management, and schematic cohesion. Williams handled the heavy lifting, Corum provided fresh legs and finishing power, and the offensive line consistently created enough movement to let both backs operate decisively.

This article originally appeared on Rams Wire: Rams had the most efficient run game in 2025 across multiple metrics

The Los Angeles Rams built one of the most structurally efficient rushing attacks in the NFL this season.…

[2079
4084,7,4076,1014,58,2444,2611,6,410,424,252,3416
0":"post-758958","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-los-angeles-rams","8":"tag-blake-corum","9":"tag-football","10":"tag-kyren-williams","11":"tag-los-angeles","12":"tag-los-angeles-rams","13":"tag-losangeles","14":"tag-losangelesrams","15":"tag-nfl","16":"tag-pro-football-focus","17":"tag-rams","18":"tag-san-francisco-49ers","19":"tag-the-rams
["GET
