Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> quarterback Trevor Lawrence hasn’t done anything controversial this offseason, and yet, he’s trending on social media.<\/p>\n

Lawrence, the No. 1 pick from the 2021 NFL<\/a> Draft, is coming off one of the best seasons of his career. He had 4,007 passing yards, 38 total touchdowns for the Jaguars. Despite his heroics down the stretch, he fell short to the Buffalo Bills<\/a> in the opening round of the playoffs.<\/p>\n

“I wish we played cleaner in certain areas. I wish I had made one or two decisions a little bit differently, threw a better ball here or there. You\u2019ve got to live with it. It\u2019s life. You don\u2019t get do-overs. It\u2019s a bummer,” Lawrence said.<\/a> “But I know that we left everything out there. I know I put everything into this this year. It\u2019s sucks that we don\u2019t get to keep playing. This is a special group.”<\/p>\n

So why is Lawrence trending on social media? Unfortunately for the former No. 1 pick, he’s being compared to Laura Ingraham of Fox News.<\/p>\n

Ingraham shared a selfie from an airplane on social media this Tuesday along with the caption: “Taking off. See you on air tmrw!” It didn’t take long for NFL fans to start cracking jokes.<\/p>\n

“Trevor Lawrence gotta get a better skin care routine,” one fan sarcastically said.<\/p>\n

“Trevor Lawrence looking spiffy,” a second fan wrote.<\/p>\n

“Trevor Lawrence loves the offseason,” another fan commented. “That\u2019s why he\u2019s always in a hurry to get it started. Enjoy vacation!”<\/p>\n

This post from Ingraham already has over 1.6 million views on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.<\/p>\n

We’ve seen Lawrence respond to a few memes in the past. Will he address the comparisons to Ingraham? Only time will tell.<\/p>\n
