The 2026 league year is coming next month. It officially begins on March 11, with the legal negotiating period beginning on March 9.<\/p>\n
The Arizona Cardinals<\/a> have many roster decisions to make before then.<\/p>\n Leading up to the new league year, we will profile every player on the roster, go over what they did last season, what their contract status is and what they face in 2026.<\/p>\n Next up is quarterback Kedon Slovis.<\/p>\n Kedon Slovis 2025 season<\/p>\n Slovis began the season on the Cardinals’ practice squad after he didn’t make the Houston Texans<\/a>‘ roster out of training camp. He was signed to the active roster after Week 5 and was the Cardinals’ backup quarterback for the rest of the season.<\/p>\n Need a news break? He completed one pass for minus-2 yards.<\/p>\n Kedon Slovis contract status<\/p>\n Slovis is under contract for 2026 for a salary of $1.005 million.<\/p>\n Kedon Slovis offseason outlook<\/p>\n For now, he is simply the third quarterback on the roster, but his spot is not secure, even to make it to the offseason program.
